Soo-teik Lim MBBS, MMed, MRCPE, FAMS

Centre Singapore (NHCS), and Director of the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory and Senior Consultant with the Department of Cardiology at NHCS. He is also the former Deputy Academic Vice-Chair, Training & Education in the Cardiovascular Sciences Academic Clinical Programme.

Dr. Lim’s subspecialty interest is in interventional cardiology, specializing in percutaneous coronary intervention, as well as peripheral vascular interventional treatment for diseases in carotid, renal, iliac, and lower limb vessels. He has a special interest in pulmonary hypertension. He leads the balloon pulmonary angioplasty (BPA) program for the treatment of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) in NHCS.

Dr. Lim is also a team member of the left atrial appendage closure and transcatheter aortic valve implantation programs.

As immediate past Director of Medical Informatics of NHCS, Dr. Lim dedicates substantial time to improving the health IT systems in NHCS and SingHealth. He currently chairs the projects for Cardiology Image and Information Management System and SingHealth ECG Management System.

​Adj Assoc Prof Lim graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1989 and his Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) in 1993 from the National University of Singapore.
