Sondra M. Adkinson PharmD, DAAPM, CPE, BSPh

Dr. Adkinson received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and has a Bachelors of Science in Pharmacy from the Ohio Northern University in Ada. She is currently practicing as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System in Florida, in the Outpatient Interdisciplinary Pain Clinic.

She serves on the National VA Pharmacy Pain Workgroup, BPVA Pain Team, and is a Clinical Instructor of Pharmacy Practice offering Clerkship training to Pharmacy Students in Pain Management for the University of Florida College of Pharmacy (UF), Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine College of Pharmacy Bradenton Campus, Nova Southeastern College of Pharmacy, and the Palm Beach Atlantic College of Pharmacy. She is also a licensed Bay Pines VA Healthcare System Registered Pharmacist in Florida since 1986 and is a licensed Registered Pharmacist in Florida and Ohio. She has been credentialed by examination as a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management since 2008 (DAAPM), and is also a Certified Pain Educator.
