Sofie Rutsaert PhD

Sofie Rutsaert is a PhD student at the HIV Research Center at the University of Gent, Belgium, under the supervision of Prof. Linos Vandekerckhove. She obtained her master's degree in biomedical science in 2011 and a master's degree in marine biology in 2014. Her master's thesis deals with basic research on HIV infection but over the past 3 years she refocused on DNA quantification -VIH applied in different clinical studies. In parallel, Sofie Rutsaert teaches at the "HIV Cure Research Center Workshop" in Belgium.
