Slobodan Tanaskovic MD, PhD

Dr. Slobodan Tanaskovic specialist in general and vascular surgery has been employed at the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases "Dedinje" at the Clinic for Vascular Surgery for the last 14 years. Master's degree and doctorate at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Belgrade, clinical assistant since 2015, and assistant professor at the Department of Surgery - vascular surgery since 2022. He is active in continuing education programs for doctors. He is a regular member and lecturer at the ultrasonographic diagnostics school of the "Dedinje" Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases.

He participated in the creation of a national guide for the treatment of diabetic foot and treatment of carotid disease. He is a collaborator in several national and international studies. He has published more than 150 papers in national and foreign journals in the field of vascular surgery. As a lecturer, he actively participates in all national and international congresses of vascular and endovascular surgery. Studied vascular and endovascular surgery at the University Hospital in Zurich. He is a member of the European Association for Vascular Surgery (ESVS), the International Association for Vascular Surgery (ISVS), and the Association for Vascular Medicine of Serbia.

Winner of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce award for the best doctoral dissertation at the Medical Faculty of the University of Belgrade in 2016. Specialized in the treatment of all types of blood vessel diseases, closely specialized in the treatment of wounds and the treatment of the diabetic foot. He is the representative of our country in "D-FOOT International", the International Association for the Treatment of Diabetic Foot.
