Sizeka Maweya MBChB, MMed (Fam Med), MSc (Clin Epi),BDT, AHMP

Dr. Sizeka Maweya is a registered Family Physician who obtained his MBChB degree from the University of Pretoria, and later his Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology. He worked as a Clinical Executive Director of Pietersburg Hospital and started the Department of Neurosurgery in 2014. He is a member of the SAfAIDS Board of Directors and is a Health Professionals Sector Leader of SANAC. Dr. Maweya is a consultant in the Family Medicine Department at Mankweng Hospital and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Limpopo. Dr Maweya is a National Council member of the South African Academy of Family Physicians (SAAFP) and the College of Medicine South Africa (CMSA) Family Medicine examiner for both diploma and fellowship.
