Simone Stahl PhD

Simone Stahl completed her Ph.D. in tumor immunology at the German Cancer Research Centre in Heidelberg. She joined AstraZeneca’s safety function initially in Alderley Park then Cambridge, UK. In Molecular Toxicology Simone contributed to AstraZeneca’s preclinical hepatotoxicity strategy developing in vitro models for hepatic and other organ toxicities. She has since continued to gain expertise in drug transporters and their role in organ injury, drug disposition, and drug-drug interactions. In ADME Sciences Simone champions the evaluation of novel in vitro systems for DMPK applications. Throughout her career, Simone supported investigative programs for drug projects from the toxicity as well as the ADME perspective.
