Simone Kuppens MD, PhD

Simone M. Kuppens completed her training as a gynecologist at the Catholic University of Leuven. Simone M. Kuppen's specializations are obstetrics, an external version of the breech, pediatric gynecology, and thyroid in pregnancy. Since 1998 she enjoy working at the Catharina Hospital. Simone M. Kuppens like to dedicate myself to improving the quality of care (among other things through her participation in the Santeon Maternity Care improvement team) and training multidisciplinary teams in emergency situations (Crew Resource Management).

In addition to her work in the hospital, Simone M. Kuppens is a member of the maternal mortality audit committee of the Dutch Association for Obstetrics and Gynecology (NVOG). Simone M. Kuppen's passion lies in studies into the improvement of the quality of care and thyroid disease during pregnancy.
