Simon Swift BSc, MBBS, MRCS, MSC

Simon is an ex Sub speciality surgical SpR and health economist who has focused on supporting service improvement through the measurement and interpretation of clinical outcomes. He set up and directed the NHS East Midlands SHA Quality Observatory, focusing on working with clinicians and managers to understand how to use data to evidence and support service improvement, developing indicators for measuring clinical quality, identifying how these are best used and to understand the opportunities presented by system levers.
