Simon Stockill BSc, MBBS, MSc

Dr Simon Stockill grew up in Yorkshire, before studying medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School, Imperial College London and University College London. After qualifying as a GP he worked as a lecturer in general practice at Imperial College London, served on the Board of Westminster Primary Care Trust and was an elected member of Westminster City Council.
He has a post-graduate degree in population health from the University of York, was Clinical Chair of NHS Leeds Primary Care Trust before becoming Medical Director of NHS Leeds West Clinical Commissioning Group. He was a founder of the Leeds Institute of Quality Healthcare and takes a specialist interest in quality improvement and clinical leadership.
