Simon Sebire holds a BSc (2004) and a PhD (2009) in Sports and Exercise Sciences from the University of Bath, England. His PhD focussed on the role of goals in motivating physical activity behaviour, including the development of the Goal Content in Exercise Questionnaire which has been translated and validated in 9 languages to date.
In 2010, Simon Sebire joined the University of Bristol as a Post Doc, working with Prof. Russ Jago on research projects investigating children's physical activity. I've supervised 42 MSc students, and 2 PhD students to completion with a further 2 currently studying and have served as external examiner for 4 students.
Simon Sebire is the recipient of the Early Career Awards from the European College of Sport Sciences (2011) and the UK Society of Behavioural Medicine (2014).
