Dr. Simon Nigen received his medical degree from the University of Montreal in 1997. He subsequently completed his training in dermatology at the University of Laval. In 2002, he completed a fellowship at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre in Toronto in the company of Dr. Neil Shear in drug eruption and skin pharmacology. Since, he is a clinical assistant professor of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Montreal, head of the dermatology department and director of clinical drug allergies and skin at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital. He is also a member of the review committee for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
