Simon Kaiching Lo, MD is the Director of the Pancreatic and Biliary Diseases Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Lo is also an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, Dr. Lo's interests include the diagnosis and management of pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, and bile duct diseases. He is an expert in ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound, and a variety of specialized endoscopic technologies.

Dr. Lo is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the International Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Association. He has written articles for such peer-reviewed publications as the Annals of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and Annals of Surgery.

Dr. Lo received his bachelor's degree from Queens College, City University of New York, and his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. After an internship and residency in internal medicine at the UCLA-Wadsworth Veterans Administration Medical Center, Dr. Lo completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the UCLA Integrated Gastroenterology Training Program and post-graduate training in biliary endoscopy at the University of Amsterdam.
