Simon Hughes BSc, MBBS, MRCP, FRCR, MD

Simon has an active role in research and development (R&D). He led the Trust’s clinical oncology / radiotherapy R&D team for five years before stepping down to focus on his own research activity. He remains on the editorial panel for the British Journal of Urology International. Simon is joint-lead for cancer education and training at Kings’ Healthcare Partners, having previously held lead roles at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. At the national level, Simon is the treasurer of the British Uro-oncology Group, a co-opted member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons: oncology section; and is a past president of the oncology section of the Royal Society of Medicine.
