Simon Cruwys PhD

Simon is co-founder and Director of Pharmacology at TherapeutAix, a bespoke consultancy company that utilizes a networked R&D approach to support clients in progressing compounds to the clinic. In many cases, this utilizes a biomarker-led strategy to provide a line of sight from pre-clinical studies through to early clinical proof of concept. Previously, as Head of Innovative Medicines Unit, Grünenthal Innovation, Simon led a team responsible for in-licensing molecules and delivering them to Clinical proof of concept. He has over 30 years of experience in academic and industry research. As a project leader, he has a track record of delivery from Lead Identification through to clinical validation. Prior to Grünenthal, Simon worked for AstraZeneca where he was lead for both small molecule and antibody projects.
