Dr. Simon Boyi Chen is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He received his MD from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He specializes in Pathology. Chen is currently pursuing a fellowship in both molecular genetic and surgical pathology at Stanford Health Care after the completion of his bachelor’s degree, medical doctorate, and residency. He has many years of experience teaching and serving on committees at the Stanford University School of Medicine. His research interests include many kinds of pathology, including, but not limited to, oncological, cardiothoracic, and digital pathology, medical ethics, as well as the use of AI in pathology study and imaging.
