Simon Chapman

Simon is Director of Public and Parliamentary Engagement at The National Council for Palliative Care (NCPC) and the Dying Matters Coalition, and has worked with NCPC since 2002 to help ensure that people’s quality and experience of care at the end of their lives is as good as it can be. He leads NCPC’s work as a strategic partner within the Health and Care Voluntary Sector Strategic Partnership Programme with the Department of Health, NHS England and Public Health England. Prior to working in the voluntary sector, he spent 12 years as a barrister in private practice. He is a former board member of 2020 Health.
