Simita Mishra PhD, MHA, PAHM, PMP

Dr. Simita Mishra, MHA, Ph.D., PMP, PAHM, is the enterprise-wide population health informatics leader of Northwell Health, which is a large integrated delivery network in New York with 24 tertiary care hospitals and close to 1,000 ambulatory physician practices. In this role, she provides operational oversight to the various population health integration and operational/digital transformation initiatives. Simita has 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry as a change management and operations improvement thought leader. She has extensive experience in driving strategies related to operational efficiency and population health management. She has led initiatives related to shared-savings strategies, physician compensation restructuring, cost reduction, and building reporting infrastructures. In her prior role, she served as the chief population health officer for Queens Long Island Medical Group in New York under a practice management contract with Navigant. She has a Ph.D. in medical informatics and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Johns Hopkins University and ASCI, India.
