Simeon George MD

Simeon George, MD, joined SR One in 2007 and leads SR One’s investment activities on the West Coast. Prior to joining SR One, Dr George was a consultant at Bain & Company and an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. Dr George received his BA in Neuroscience from the Johns Hopkins University, where he graduated Phi Betta Kappa. He received his MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and his MBA (Mayer Scholar) from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr George is a member of the Board of Directors of Bird Rock Bio, Crispr Therapeutics, Effector Therapeutics, Principia Biopharma and Progyny. He served as a Director of Genocea Biosciences (GNCA), HTG Molecular (HTGM), and Semprus Biosciences (acquired by Teleflex).
