Silviu-laurentiu Badea MSc, PhD

Dr. Silviu-Laurentiu Badea (Senior Researcher-CS III) is an environmental chemist who graduated with an M.Sc. in 2005 at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Bucharest, Romania. From October 1, 2006, he went to the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ Leipzig, Germany, to undertake his PhD thesis entitled "Assessment of the in situ Transformation of Persistent Organic Pollutants” in cooperation with the University of Bucharest (thesis defended on 07.10.2011).
