Silvio Abati MD, DMD

Prof. Silvio Abati graduated in Medicine and Surgery with full marks and honors and specialized in Odontostomatology. He perfected his training in the field of odontostomatology and oral medicine and pathology with postgraduate courses and study visits in the United States, the United Kingdom, and France. He is an associate university professor qualified as a full professor.

His clinical and academic practice is oriented towards the fields of stomatology, oral medicine and pathology, and hospital clinical dentistry: the scientific, didactic, and clinical fields of activity of Prof. Silvio Abati are therefore in the field of prevention, diagnosis,s and treatment of infectious, inflammatory, immunopathological and benign and malignant neoplastic diseases of the oral mucosa, tongue, jaw bones, salivary glands, including the symptoms and alterations of local and general health and well-being that they cause.

Prof. Silvio Abati also deals with the correlations between oral health and systemic diseases and the possibilities of dental and stomatological care and treatments in patients affected by systemic conditions and diseases. Prof. Silvio Abati teaches Special Oral Pathology, Clinical Dentistry, and Preventive and Community Dentistry at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan.
