Silvina Levis-dusseau MD

Silvina Levis, MD, is a Professor of Medicine and Director of the Osteoporosis Center at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL. She received her medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina. She finished her residency in Internal Medicine at the Institute of Medical Research in Buenos Aires, where she later completed a fellowship in Endocrinology.

She was also a Research Fellow in Endocrinology and Nuclear Medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, FL. She has served as Past-Director of the Nuclear Medicine Thyroid Clinic at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, where she was also Coordinator of the Endocrine Clinic. She is a member of several professional organizations including the International Society for Clinical Densitometry, the American Society for Bone Mineral Research, and the American Geriatrics Society. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, Current Psychiatry Reports, and the Journal of Aging and Health.
