Dr Sian Yik Lim is a rheumatologist at Hawaii Pacific Health and an assistant clinical professor at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine in Honolulu, HI. He completed my rheumatology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and was a research fellow at Harvard Medical School. He has a strong research interest in the epidemiology of osteoporosis, hip fractures, and gout. He is interested in medical writing in general and has worked with students to publish case reports and literature review articles. He was the editor of a book titled 'Pharmacological Interventions for Osteoporosis' and has authored seven book chapters (osteoporosis, medical education). He enjoys working with students. He believes in participating in research to understand and improve what we do in medicine and our community.
