Siamak Moayedi MD

Dr. Moayedi has been teaching at the SOM since 2004. His academic interests include medical student education, invasive medical procedure education, and difficult intravenous access research. He has been teaching invasive medical procedures in the cadaver lab since 2004. He has also authored 2 textbook chapters about procedure education and has lectured internationally on the topic. He is the director of four CME cadaver based courses and the medical student emergency medicine elective at Mercy Medical Center. Dr. Moayedi works clinically at the Mercy Medical Center Emergency Department as well as the Department of Hyperbaric Medicine at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Dr. Moayedi has been serving on the Education Committee for the American Academy of Emergency Medicine since 2015.
