Shubhadeep Debabrata Sinha MD, PhD, MBA, FCGP, PGDID, FRSPH, FIPS

Dr Sinha is a pharmaceutical physician with over 20 years of experience. He is currently Senior Vice President and Medical Director, at Hetero Group of Pharmaceutical companies, as well as Global Head of Department - Clinical trials, Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance since 2011.

He earlier worked as Vice-President (Clinical Research & Pharmacovigilance) at Vimta Labs, 2009-2011, Director - Medical Affairs at Alquest LLC and Indigene Pharmaceuticals, USA from 2008-09, -Associate Director - Clinical and Pharmacovigilance, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories from 2003-2007, Manager Medical Services and Medical Advisor at Glenmark Pharma, Organon (currently Merck) & Khandelwal Laboratories - 2000-2003, and as Medical Officer- Clinical research, Pharmacology, Pharmacovigilance at BYL Nair Hospital, Mumbai from 1997-2000.

Dr. Sinha has been at the forefront of global clinical development of Biosimilars of Darbepoetin, Rituximab, Bevacizumab, Adalimumab, Trastuzumab, Filgrastim; clinical development of new chemical entities in HIV, Oncology, Gastroenterology, and cardiovascular diseases besides multiple generics. Has led clinical and Pharmacovigilance teams of various sizes in pharma and CRO. and has clinical practice experience of about 10 years.
