Shobana Chandrasekhar MD

Shobana Chandrasekhar is one of those rare anesthesiologists who completed two fellowships: one in Obstetrical Anesthesia at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the other in Pain Management at Beth Isreal Deaconnes Medical Center. Currently an Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine her current activities reflect her continually growing list of interests: Obstetrical Anesthesia, Transplant Medicine, Vascular Surgery, Pain Management, Residency Education, and Perioperative Simulation. Respected by peers and admired by residents, her diverse background and commitment to self-improvement have made her extremely well-versed in a wide array of topics. All this not only made her the epitome of Perioperative Consultation, but a versatile and formidable Oral Board Instructor.
