Shivani Patel MD, MBBS, MS, FASE

Dr. Shivani G. Patel is a board-certified pediatric cardiologist with expertise in non-invasive cardiac imaging including advanced transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, fetal echocardiography, and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. With a goal of providing consistent, high-quality care to her pediatric patients with congenital and acquired heart disease, she is invested in improving outcomes for her patients from birth to adulthood via a multidimensional perspective. Her research interests include the utilization of quality improvement processes at various levels to advance the quality of non-invasive cardiac imaging, assess the application of stress perfusion cardiac MRI in pediatric patients, and pursue the use of focused cardiac ultrasound. In addition to being an advocate for the wellness of medical providers, she is passionate about education in diverse settings, for diverse learners, and at all levels.
