Shimul A. Shah BS, MD, MHCM

Dr. Shimul Shah strived for clinical excellence, innovation and scholarship in the surgical arena. Dr. Shah completed his residency training in general surgery at Brigham and Women's Hospital of Harvard Medical School in 2004. While at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, he was the recipient of the Harvard Medical School Teaching Award in 2002 and 2004 as well as the Francis D. Moore Teaching Award in 2004. Aspiring to be a hepatobiliary surgeon with expertise in transplantation, Dr. Shah then completed a multi-organ transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery fellowship at Toronto General Hospital and the University of Toronto.
