Dr. Shimian Zou is the Principal Investigator of the Epidemiology and Surveillance program with the American Red Cross Holland Laboratory. He received a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from the University of Ottawa, Canada, in 1995. He received a Master’s degree in epidemiology in 1986 and completed his medical school training in 1979, both from China. He is serving as a reviewer for 5 journals. He has published over 70 scientific papers.
