Sheldon Magder MD

Sheldon Magder is a Professor of Medicine and Physiology at McGill University and a Senior Physician at the McGill University Health Centre. Dr Magder has both active basic science and clinical research programs. Interests include hemodynamics, heart lung interactions, fluid physiology and exercise physiology. He has been active in the “Stewart approach to acid-base physiology”. His basic science research has been in the vascular biology field with special interests in nitric oxide and reactive oxygen species in the vascular regulation during sepsis and the effect of estrogens on the vascular wall.
