Sheila Nainan Myatra MD, FCCM, FICCM

Prof. Myatra works in a mixed medical-surgical ICU at The Tata Memorial Hospital. She is a professor of Intensive care at the Homi Bhabha National Institute University. She is the President Elect 2022 of ISCCM Chair of the Critical Care Medicine Committee of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiology (WFSA) Immediate Past President of the All India Difficult Airway Association. Among the 14 international experts on the American Society of Anesthesiologists & PUMA (Project for Universal Management of the Airway) difficult airway guidelines. Appointed on the International Surviving Sepsis Campaign COVID Guidelines Committee Developed a new test in hemodynamic monitoring: “tidal volume challenge” (CCM 2017), Member of the editorial board of Journal of Critical Care, Anaesthesia, Canadian Journal of Anaesthesia, Trends in Anaesthesia & CC, Airway, JOACP, India Journal of Aanesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine (past). She was Awarded FCCM (American College of CCM) and FICCM. Over 100 indexed publications and over 40 book chapters. Her Interests – Hemodynamic monitoring, airway management, and sepsis.
