Shawn Gurwara MD

Dr. Shawn Gurwara is a board-certified and fellowship-trained gastroenterologist. He specializes in gastrointestinal disorders. Dr. Gurwara earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Gurwara’s clinical interests include colorectal cancer screening, gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastrointestinal bleeding, and irritable bowel syndrome.
