Shaun Gregory MD, PhD

Dr. Shaun Gregory is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Monash University. He has completed Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD degrees in medical engineering at the Queensland University of Technology and his 3-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Queensland. He was a research fellow at Griffith University for two years, directed the Innovative Cardiovascular Engineering and Technology Laboratory (ICETLAB) for five years, and was Chief Technical Officer for De Motu Cordis Pty Ltd (a medication delivery company) for 3 years. Dr. Gregory’s main research focuses on cardiovascular engineering, with a particular interest in developing and evaluating rotary blood pumps for mechanical circulatory support.
