Shaukat M. Sadikot MD

Dr. Shaukat M. Sadikot is the President-Elect of IDF, and will be IDF President for 2016-2017. We had a chance to meet with the President-Elect at his home in Mumbai, India to discuss his upcoming term as President over the next two years.

President-Elect Shaukat Sadikot has seen the diabetes crisis play out in the world as a renowned global expert in endocrinology, but it is clear as he readies himself to take the helm as the next IDF President, he has one goal. “There is no question making a difference on the ground for diabetes is a challenge, and we need to change that. In that regard, he don’t want to lead the diabetes community so much as serve the needs of all diagnosed and un diagnosed people with diabetes.”
