Sharan Bagal

I am a Medicinal Chemist that has worked at Pfizer Ltd for over 5 years. I have worked on four different projects (ion channels, kinase, GPCR) in the exploratory and candidate seeking arena, and worked within two therapeutic areas (Pain and Allergy/Respiratory). I have experience with ligand- and structure-based drug design. Moreover since my appointment, our team have designed, synthesised and nominated 3 compounds for clinical development, delivered numerous hit-to-lead series and filed five patents. I have also written four publications. I am very driven, enthusiastic, work well as an individual and as part of a team, have managed numerous chemistry graduates, work well with partner lines e.g. DMPK, biology, and have delivered many presentations.
