Shannon Willhite Finks PharmD, FCCP, BCPS, BCCP, AHSCP-CHC

Dr. Shannon Finks, Pharm.D., FCCP, BCPS, BCCP, AHSCP-CHC is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy in Memphis. Dr. Finks has practiced for two decades in the area of cardiology and has expertise in private institutions and academic practice settings. She is a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and has Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and Cardiology (BCCP) and AHSCP-CHC certifications.

Dr. Finks teaches across multiple courses at UTHSC with a focus on cardiovascular pharmacotherapy. Dr. Finks has provided over 140 invited lectures on numerous cardiovascular-related topics to health care professionals on local, regional, national, and international platforms. She is among the national faculty for the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Board Certification Preparatory Courses. Her passion is teaching—and she has been awarded University related teaching awards in 2010, 2012, and 2018. Dr. Finks' scholarship focus has been in the area of cardiovascular pharmacotherapy. She is well published in the medical literature, with over 40 PubMed citations, including in the New England Journal of Medicine.
