Shameer Khader PhD

Dr. Shameer Khader is the Program Director of Machine Learning & Data Science at Northwell Health, New York, USA. He leads operational data science activities for one of the largest health systems in the country with 11 billion in revenue. He also serves as the program director of various translational bioinformatics projects for Northwell Health. Previously he served as the Director of Bioinformatics (Data Science and Precision Medicine) at Philips Healthcare. He has also led multiple clinical trials and genomic medicine research programs at the Mayo Clinic and Mount Sinai Health Systems.
He was a pharma, healthcare and life science domain consultant for various biomedical and healthcare data science projects including Google, LEK Consulting, and Parthenon-EY. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed research papers and 30 conference publications in the area of healthcare data science, bioinformatics, drug discovery and precision medicine.
