Shahani Jagdish Menghraj MBBS, MD (Anaes)

Dr. Shahani graduated with an MBBS and MD (Anesthesiology) from AIIMS, Delhi, India. He has practiced as an adult and pediatric anesthetist for more than 34 years in multiple countries such as India, Australia, UK, and Sri Lanka. To date he has spent over a decade in Singapore, working as a senior consultant with the department of pediatric anesthesia here at KK Women's and Children's Hospital.

His interests are in pediatric CPB (cardiopulmonary bypass), blood conservation strategies, and pediatric ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation). Over the course of his career, he has established cardiac anesthesia programs at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore, Amrita Hospital, Cochin and Apollo Hospitals, Colombo.
