Professor Dr. Shagufta Perveen is a Scientist at Morgan State University in the US. She obtained her PhD. from the H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry, University of Karachi, Pakistan, and the University of Southampton, Southampton, the UK in 2009, and joined as an Assistant Professor at King Saud University and was promoted to Full Professor with distinctions (Distinguished). She began research on Natural Product Isolation and structure elucidation in different modern ways and techniques. She has published more than a hundred original papers, and five chapters and edited three books, in different ISI-listed journals. She has collaborated with many researchers in Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Chile, and Italy. She is on the editorial board of many ISI WOS-listed journals and reviewer of many journals. She is a fellow member of the Royal Society of Chemistry UK, a Member of the American Chemical Society of the USA, a Chartered Chemist, and an Associate Member of the Royal Australian Society.
