He completed his education at the University of Toronto. His research interests are Orthopedic Surgery, Spine Surgery, Minimally Invasive Cervical Spine Surgery, Lower Limb Joint Replacement Surgery, Adolescent Scoliosis Surgery, Adult Degenerative Surgery, and Scoliosis Surgery.
