Sezai Shahmay MD

Sezai was born in Istanbul. He graduated from Pertevniyal High School in 1968 and from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1974. He was an assistant of anatomy at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and anatomy specialist in 1979 following a 1 year Nisaiye assistant at the SSK Bakırkoy maternity hospital (18 months). During the course of Obstetrics and Gynecology , she taught Anatomy courses at Trakya University Faculty of Medicine as Assistant Professor of Anatomy in 1983-1984. He was an assistant of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and became a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 1985. From 1984 to 1985, Baylor College of Medicine(Houston, Texas, USA) as a postdoctoral research fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology and Electrophysiology.
