Seymour Katz MD

Dr. Katz is Clinical Professor of Medicine at the New York University School of Medicine and is a past President of the American College of Gastroenterology, an international organization representing more than 6,000 physician gastroenterologists.

Seymour Katz, the senior member of NYU Langone Nassau Gastroenterology Associates, has been in practice since 1971 and is a world-renowned expert in the management of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. He has participated in numerous clinical trials, lectured nationally and internationally and published scientific articles and textbook chapters in this field.
