Dr. Seung Hee Choi is currently working as an assistant professor at Wayne State University. As a behavioral scientist and nurse researcher, Dr. Choi has focused on smoking behavior and its impact on health outcomes among underserved populations such as blue-collar workers, cancer patients, and smoker couples where at least one partner smokes. Dr. Choi completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship and earned her PhD at the University of Michigan. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Seoul National University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Inha University. She maintains an active research agenda while mentoring students and advancing evidence-based approaches to tobacco control and health equity.
