Seth Alan Hoffer MD

Seth Alan Hoffer, MD is an associate professor of neurosurgery and neurology at University Hospitals of Cleveland/Case Western Reserve University. He received his B.A. with High Honors in Neuroscience with a minor in English Literature from Oberlin College and his M.D. from the University of Rochester. He completed a neurosurgery residency and fellowship in neurocritical care at the University Hospitals of Cleveland, where he has stayed as a staff physician. Currently, he is the Neurosurgical Neurocritical Care fellowship program director and sits on the executive committee for the AANS/CNS Joint Section for Neurotrauma and Critical Care.

Dr. Hoffer takes an active role in teaching residents and medical students in the operating room, the intensive care unit, and the ward. He has won teaching awards from both the neurosurgery and neurology residents.
