Serina Seward

Serina Seward currently works within Ardent Health Services as a Purchased Services Manager where she is responsible for analyzing and negotiating purchased services contracts related to healthcare. Serina coordinates and facilitates purchased services contracts for 15 hospitals and multiple clinics located in 3 states within the Lovelace Health System in NM and for Hillcrest Healthcare System in Oklahoma and BSA Health System in Amarillo, TX. In the performance of her duties, Serina will routinely interface with and collaborate with legal counsel, senior leadership and key stakeholders both clinical and non-clinical. She provides analytical support and guidance pertaining to service contracts to establish business needs, financial and operational impact, and to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies. In her first year in this position in 2014, Serina renegotiated 35 contracts and achieved more than $1.34 million in savings for Lovelace.

Serina Seward has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an associate’s degree in Business Graphics and Communication. She has been in healthcare for over 2 years. Previously, she spent 16 years in the marketing and the printing industry.
