Dr. Serhat Vahip Okar, MD, is a neurologist and translational neuroscience researcher with expertise in neuroimaging, neurological disease mechanisms, and advanced MRI applications. He currently serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, where his work focuses on bridging clinical neurology and cutting-edge imaging technologies to improve the diagnosis and monitoring of conditions such as multiple sclerosis and other central nervous system disorders.

Dr. Okar earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and completed neurology training with a strong academic foundation rooted in both clinical care and research.
