Sergio Sesia MD

Sergio Sesia completed his specialist training in Nancy/France and at the University Children's Hospital Basel (UKBB). From 2011 - 2017 he was a senior physician at the UKBB and since 2017 senior physician at the university clinic for thoracic surgery at the Inselspital in Bern. In addition to general pediatric surgery, Mr. Sesia specialized in the conservative and surgical treatment of thoracic wall deformities (funnel and keeled chest) as well as in minimally invasive surgery. In addition to his work at the Inselspital, Mr. Sesia has a scientific position at the Federal Office of Public Health (BAG).
