Sergio Berti MD

Dr. Sergio Berti is the director in the department of cardiovascular at C.n.r Fondazione Gabriele Monasterio in Italy. He has three main specializations Radiology, Cardiology, and Nuclear Medicine. He was a Professor at the School of Cardiology of the University of Florence, President of the Tuscan Italian Soc. Of Interventional Cardiology (GISE). He is a member of several National and International scientific societies. Principal Investigator for for-profit and not-for-profit clinical trials for over 10 years in the field of Cardiology (pharmaceutical as well as device-specific), predominantly Phase III. He is responsible for the percutaneous interventional treatment of structural heart diseases and in treatment of coronary disease at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna
