Sergi Padilla-parra

Sergi Padilla-Parra is laboratory is focused on the development of fluorescence imaging approaches capable of showing the spatial and temporal regulation of protein-protein interactions and/or enzymatic activity inside living cells and animals. We are developing novel methodological approaches for Lifetime Imaging (FLIM) and fluorescence cross-correlation (FCCS) techniques. We are particularly interested in improving the time resolution for FRET-FLIM acquisitions by using non-fitting approaches and also developing ‘artifact free’ FCCS techniques.
