Serge Van Kriekinge, Ph.D., is an imaging scientist in the Cedars-Sinai Artificial Intelligence in Medicine Program. Van Kriekinge's research focuses on the development of automated, 3D phase-based regional wall motion analysis for the detection of coronary artery and conduction-related diseases using gated myocardial perfusion SPECT/PET and gated blood pool SPECT images, and the extension of this work to ventricular function analysis for other modalities. Van Kriekinge has authored or co-authored several book chapters, manuscripts, and abstracts and received several prestigious academic awards. He received his bachelor's degree in mechanical and electrical engineering from the University of Brussels, Belgium. He earned his master's and doctorate degrees in computer science from UCLA.
