Senda Ajroud-driss MD

Dr. Senda Ajroud-Driss, MD, is the Les Turner ALS Foundation/Herbert C. Wenske Professor of Neurology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a board-certified neurologist specializing in neuromuscular medicine. She is internationally recognized for her expertise in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), motor neuron diseases, inherited neuromuscular disorders, muscular dystrophies, peripheral neuropathies, and myasthenia gravis. At Northwestern Medicine, she serves in key leadership roles directing multidisciplinary neuromuscular and ALS clinical programs while providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals with complex neuromuscular diseases.

Dr. Ajroud-Driss earned her medical degree from the Medical School of Tunis, Tunisia. She completed her neurology residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago, followed by fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine at Northwestern University's McGaw Medical Center. She subsequently joined the Northwestern faculty, where she has established an internationally recognized clinical and research program in neuromuscular disorders. She is board-certified in both Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology.
